PixieWire vs ParkDrop
ParkDrop (Park Drop, at parkdrop.ai) sells Disney dining and experience alerts for Walt Disney World and Disneyland, one alert at a time or by monthly plan. The biggest difference is what a single alert buys: at ParkDrop, one table, once; at PixieWire, one alert you use over and over again for a full year. Change your mind, create a new watch. Here is how they compare on what you pay, renewal, texts, apps and coverage. We build PixieWire, so every ParkDrop fact below links to the page it came from.
Checked October 24, 2026One alert, over and over, for a full year

A $5 alert per table vs one alert, over and over, for a full year
A ParkDrop single alert is for one restaurant or experience: it covers up to 7 days and every mealtime, you can shift its dates up to a week either way, and it watches until those dates pass. The next table you want is a new purchase, from $5 again. A PixieWire Single Watch, $4.99 or $9.99 with texts, is one alert you use over and over again for a full year: one watch at a time, up to 7 dates in the time window you pick. Booked it? Change your mind? Create a new watch for the next restaurant and dates, as many times as you like, for no extra charge. For example: Cinderella's Royal Table for March, then Space 220 for June, then Be Our Guest for October, all on the same $9.99. Chase four hard tables over a year, one after another, and it is $9.99 once at PixieWire against four ParkDrop alerts at $20 or more.
One payment vs a monthly plan
ParkDrop's single alert starts at $5, and its own guide says the price rises the further ahead your dates are. For more than one table it sells Plus at $14 a month for 10 alerts and Pro at $29 a month for 25; its terms say subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and subscription alerts pause when the subscription ends. PixieWire passes are one payment and never renew: a Month Pass is $14.99 for 30 days and a Trip Pass $24.99 for 90 days, each with 25 alerts and texts. Watching from the day the 60-day booking window opens through the trip is two or three months of Plus ($28 to $42 for 10 alerts), or one Trip Pass.
Texts, and when each costs less
ParkDrop texts and emails on every plan, its $5 single alert included. PixieWire's $4.99 Single Watch alerts by email and iPhone app push, not text; texts start at $9.99 and come with every Month, Trip and Annual Pass. If you will only ever want one table, ParkDrop's single alert costs less. From the second table on, PixieWire costs less: tables one after another fit the same $9.99 Single Watch for a year, against $10 or more for two ParkDrop alerts. Several tables at the same time: three ParkDrop single alerts are $15 or more against a $14.99 Month Pass (25 alerts with texts, 30 days), and five ($25 or more) cost more than a $24.99 Trip Pass (25 alerts with texts, 90 days).
Browser or app: PixieWire does both
ParkDrop says there is nothing to download: you set alerts in your browser and they reach you by text and email, and we found no ParkDrop app in the US App Store. PixieWire works the same way in any browser, with nothing to download, and adds a free iPhone app that delivers alerts as push notifications on every pass. We don't have an Android app yet.
Experiences: both watch them
ParkDrop sells alerts for experiences as well as dining. So does PixieWire, on the same passes as your restaurants: Walt Disney World experiences that Disney books online, such as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Savi's Workshop and Harmony Barber Shop, are checked about every 20 minutes, and Disneyland's less often.
What you can see before you pay
Both cover Walt Disney World and Disneyland. PixieWire watches 155 dining venues (restaurants, dining events and a dinner show), and every restaurant page shows a free 60-day availability calendar and 30 days of history, so you can see how hard a table is before you pay anyone.
About speed
ParkDrop's guide to the best Disney dining alert tools, dated July 12, 2026, ranks ParkDrop first and says that in its own head-to-head testing it "beat MouseWatcher on alert speed every time". The post describes its speed test in one sentence, publishes no results, and does not include PixieWire. We publish ours: each watched Walt Disney World table is checked about every 18 seconds on every pass, measured, with the method on our alert speed page. ParkDrop publishes no check interval, so the two can't be compared number for number. Neither service books for you, so you can run both on the same table and book from whichever alert reaches you first.

Questions
PixieWire vs Park Drop (ParkDrop): which is better?
For one text alert on one restaurant, once, ParkDrop: its single alert starts at $5, and the next table is another purchase. For anything more, PixieWire. Its $9.99 Single Watch with texts lasts a year and moves from table to table as often as you like, so the second table already costs less than two ParkDrop alerts. For several tables at once, a Month Pass ($14.99, 30 days) or Trip Pass ($24.99, 90 days) holds 25 alerts with texts, never renews, includes Ride Alerts and shares with 2 more people. PixieWire also publishes its measured speed (each watched Walt Disney World table checked about every 18 seconds), works in any browser plus a free iPhone app, and shows every restaurant's availability history free. ParkDrop publishes no check interval and says there is no app to download.
Is PixieWire cheaper than ParkDrop?
For exactly one table, ever, no: ParkDrop's single alert starts at $5 with texts, and PixieWire's Single Watch with texts is $9.99. From the second table on, yes: that Single Watch lasts 12 months and moves to each new table for no extra charge, while every ParkDrop single alert is a new purchase from $5 (four tables, $20 or more). For several restaurants at once, also yes: a Trip Pass is $24.99 once for 90 days and 25 alerts, while ParkDrop's plans are $14 a month for 10 alerts or $29 a month for 25 and renew until you cancel.
Does ParkDrop have an app?
No. ParkDrop says there is nothing to download: you set alerts in your browser and get texts and email. We found no ParkDrop app in the US App Store when we checked. PixieWire works in a browser the same way and also has a free iPhone app that delivers alerts as push notifications.
Does PixieWire watch Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Savi's Workshop?
Yes. Walt Disney World experiences that Disney books online, including Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Savi's Workshop and Harmony Barber Shop, can be watched on any PixieWire pass alongside your restaurants. They are checked about every 20 minutes; Disneyland's are checked less often. ParkDrop sells experience alerts too.
Is ParkDrop faster than PixieWire?
Nobody has published a test that compares the two. ParkDrop's own guide says it beat MouseWatcher on alert speed in its own testing, without publishing the results, and it didn't include PixieWire. PixieWire publishes its measured check interval, about every 18 seconds for each watched Walt Disney World table on every pass, with the method; ParkDrop publishes none. Running both on the same table does no harm.
Can I share alerts with my family?
With both. Every PixieWire pass shares alerts with up to 2 more people besides you (email addresses and phone numbers combined). ParkDrop lists sharing with family and friends on every plan.
Do either of them book the table for me?
No. Both send you a link and you book it yourself with your own Disney account. PixieWire never asks for your Disney login.
Is either one affiliated with Disney?
No. PixieWire is not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company. Alert services are independent companies; Disney's own way to book is My Disney Experience.
