The short version: We collect your email and optionally your phone number to send dining alerts. We don’t sell your data. SMS alerts are a paid feature and completely optional. US and Canada phone numbers only. You can delete your account anytime.

Who We Are Pixiewire Media LLC (“PixieWire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Florida limited liability company located in Winter Garden, Florida that operates PixieWire.com, an independent Disney World news and planning resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company.

Information We Collect Information you provide directly • Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or create a PixieWire account • Password (stored encrypted) when you create an account • Dining alert preferences including restaurants, dates, party size, and time preferences • Phone number (US and Canada only) if you choose to enable SMS notifications — this is optional, never required, and only available on paid plans • Trip planning preferences including travel dates, park selections, dining choices, and notes • Park hours and wait times notification preferences when you opt into those features • Source suggestions or reader submissions via our forms

Information collected automatically • Pages visited and general browsing behavior via Umami Analytics (cookieless, no personal data stored) • General usage patterns via Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies and may collect your IP address and device information • Standard server log data including IP address and browser type • IP address at time of sign-up and SMS consent enrollment, retained as part of the record

We do not collect payment card information directly. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect to: • Send dining availability alert emails and SMS notifications to users who have set alerts and explicitly consented • Send park hours, wait time, and trip reminder emails to users who have opted in • Send our newsletter to subscribers who have opted in • Save and retrieve trip plans for logged-in users • Operate and improve PixieWire.com and its planning tools • Understand how readers use the site so we can make it better • Process payments for paid service tiers • Send transactional account communications such as password resets and confirmations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Service Plans and Paid Features PixieWire offers free and paid service tiers for its Dining Alert service:

• Free — Up to 3 active dining alerts, email notifications, access to all 75+ WDW restaurants, direct booking links. No credit card required. • Basic (coming soon) — $4.99/month. Up to 10 active dining alerts, email and SMS notifications. • Pro (coming soon) — $7.99/month. Up to 25 active dining alerts, email and SMS notifications, priority monitoring. • Pro Annual (coming soon) — $69.99/year. Same as Pro with $25 savings versus monthly.

SMS notifications are only available on paid plans. All payments are processed by Stripe. Pricing is subject to change with advance notice to account holders.

SMS Text Notifications PixieWire offers optional SMS text alerts for dining availability on paid plans. SMS notifications are never required to use any PixieWire service, and are only available to US and Canada phone numbers (+1 country code).

To enroll in SMS notifications you must: • Have an active paid PixieWire plan • Navigate to your dining alert settings at pixiewire.com/plan/dining-alerts • Enter a valid US or Canada mobile phone number • Check the explicit consent checkbox which states: “By providing your phone number and clicking Save, I agree to receive automated text messages from PixieWire at the phone number provided when dining availability matching my alerts is found. Consent is not required to use PixieWire. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for support.”

By completing enrollment you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from PixieWire. This consent is documented and timestamped along with your IP address.

Message frequency varies based on the number of active alerts you have and how frequently matching availability is found. During peak Disney reservation periods this could be several messages per day.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any PixieWire text message at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Re-enable at any time from your alert settings.

Support: Reply HELP to any PixieWire text message or email legal@pixiewire.com.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. PixieWire does not charge for the text messages themselves.

Carrier: SMS messages are sent via Twilio. Your phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Consent records: We retain SMS consent records including the date, time, IP address, and exact consent language displayed at time of enrollment for a minimum of 4 years as required under applicable law.

Dining Alert Disclaimer PixieWire monitors Disney World dining availability and sends notifications when openings are detected. We do not guarantee reservations. We do not book on your behalf. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company or Walt Disney World Resort. All bookings must be completed directly on Disney’s website or app. Availability may be gone by the time you act on a notification.

PixieWire Account When you create a PixieWire account you provide an email address and password. Your account gives you access to all of PixieWire’s planning tools with the ability to save your data and manage notification preferences in one place. You can update or delete your account at any time from your account preferences page at pixiewire.com/account.

Trip Planner PixieWire offers a free Disney World Trip Planner tool. For logged-in users, trip plans are saved to your account. For users without an account, trip plan data is accessible via a unique private URL. Do not share your plan URL if you want it to remain private. You may request deletion of an anonymous trip plan by contacting us at legal@pixiewire.com with your plan URL. We do not sell trip plan data.

Cookies and Tracking Umami Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by declining cookies via our consent banner.

When display advertising is active on this site, our advertising partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You will be notified when advertising is enabled.

Data Retention • Account information: retained until you delete your account • Dining alert data: retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion • Notification history: retained for 12 months • SMS consent records: retained for a minimum of 4 years as required by law • Sign-up IP address records: retained for a minimum of 4 years • Trip plan data (logged-in users): retained until you delete it or your account • Anonymous trip plan data: may be retained indefinitely — contact legal@pixiewire.com to request deletion • Newsletter subscriber emails: retained until you unsubscribe • Analytics data: retained per Google’s standard settings (up to 14 months for GA4)

Your Rights Regardless of where you are located, you may: • Access your account and personal data by logging in at pixiewire.com/account • Update or correct your personal information via your account settings • Delete your account and associated data from your account preferences page or by contacting legal@pixiewire.com • Unsubscribe from any email notification using the unsubscribe link in any email we send • Opt out of SMS notifications by replying STOP to any text message • Opt out of analytics cookies via our consent banner

EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights including the right to access, delete, and correct personal data we hold about you.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@pixiewire.com. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days.

Data Security We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage via Supabase with row-level security policies, and access controls limiting who can access user data. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised contact us immediately at legal@pixiewire.com.

Third-Party Services We use the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies: • Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure • Resend — transactional email delivery • Beehiiv — newsletter platform • Stripe — payment processing • Twilio — SMS notification delivery • Amazon Associates — affiliate commission tracking (tag: pixiewire-20) • Cloudinary — media storage and delivery

Changes to This Policy We will update this policy as our practices change and post the updated date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders before taking effect. We update this policy at minimum once every 12 months.
