Fantasmic Dining Package
Fantasmic Dining Package · Hollywood Studios
Skip the amphitheater queue: the Fantasmic! Dining Package trades a meal at one of four Hollywood Studios restaurants — 50's Prime Time Cafe, Sci-Fi Dine-In, Hollywood & Vine, or The Hollywood Brown Derby — for a voucher into a reserved seating section at the nighttime show. Packages include an entrée and dessert (or full buffet where applicable) plus a beverage, and reservations run from $59 per adult at Sci-Fi Dine-In to $83 at the Brown Derby, before tax and gratuity. One catch worth knowing: seats in the reserved section are first come, first served.
Usually bookable — you can likely reserve this one directly. The cheapest restaurants and best dinner times thin out fastest. An alert flags a fresh opening on your show night before you would ever find it by refreshing.

PixieWire Booking Difficulty: 1/10 — #116 on our hardest Disney World reservations ranking. The score is derived from how often tables actually appear and how fast they are taken back over the last 13 days: the fewer the openings and the shorter they last, the higher the number. It is measured from observed availability, not from anecdote or the restaurant's reputation.
PixieWire's availability monitor watched Fantasmic Dining Package around the clock for the past 13 days and logged 43,697 reservation openings across 13 different days. Openings appeared most often around 6 AM and 10 AM Eastern — the hour Disney releases new inventory at the 60-day booking window. Half of all openings were gone within 48 hours of appearing. Openings typically appeared about 35 days before the dining date, and 26% appeared inside the final 48 hours — the window when Disney's cancellation fee prompts guests to give up their tables.

The Fantasmic! Dining Package is the reliable way to see Fantasmic! without queueing for the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater. You book a meal at one of four Hollywood Studios restaurants and collect a voucher for guaranteed seating in a reserved section. Disney's own description is straightforward: the package includes an entrée and dessert at select full-service restaurants, or one full buffet where applicable, plus a nonalcoholic beverage (or an alcoholic one for Guests 21 and older), and one voucher for guaranteed seating in a reserved area. The four participating restaurants are 50's Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood & Vine, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and The Hollywood Brown Derby. Package prices exclude tax and gratuity: 50's Prime Time Cafe $60 adult / $23 child, Sci-Fi Dine-In $59 / $23, The Hollywood Brown Derby $83 / $31, and Hollywood & Vine $67 / $42 at breakfast and $82 / $53 at lunch and dinner. The thing most guides bury: the reserved section is not assigned seating. You pick your own seat within it, first come first served, so arriving early inside the reserved area still matters.

Insider tips
▾
Your seat is reserved, but not assigned
Disney states seats are not assigned — you choose them from within the reserved section on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating begins 90 minutes before the show and you must arrive at least 25 minutes before showtime.
The cheapest package is not the cheapest meal
At $59-60 per adult, Sci-Fi Dine-In and 50's Prime Time Cafe are the least expensive ways into the package. The Hollywood Brown Derby is the most expensive at $83 and also costs two Disney Dining Plan table-service credits rather than one.
Your dinner survives a cancelled show
Disney is explicit that the dining experience still takes place even if the entertainment is cancelled. Book the meal you actually want to eat, not just the cheapest door into the amphitheater.

How do PixieWire dining alerts work?
PixieWire watches Fantasmic Dining Package around the clock. Pick a date, party size and meal, and the moment a matching table opens we send you an email and app alert (and a text on passes with SMS) with a direct link to book it on Disney's site.
