Summary
The Disney Destiny made her maiden voyage on November 20, 2025, sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. She is the third Wish-class ship — a sister to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure — but she does her own thing thematically. Where the Wish leans fairy tale and the Treasure leans adventure and exploration, the Destiny goes full heroes and villains.
That means Wakanda in the atrium. A dalmatian-spotted piano bar inspired by Cruella De Vil. A Doctor Strange lounge called The Sanctum. Spider-Man on the stern. And a Lion King dinner show built into the rotational dining rotation for every single guest, every single sailing. It is one of the more committed theme executions DCL has done, and it already landed the Destiny on TIME magazine's 2026 World's Greatest Places list.
The ship sails 4- and 5-night itineraries to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, with stops at Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Nassau, and Cozumel depending on the sailing.

What's On Board
Rotational Dining
The Destiny's three rotational restaurants are:
- Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King — A Lion King-themed dinner show. The room transitions from sunrise to sunset as the meal progresses, with live musicians, storytellers, and character entertainment woven through each course. This runs on Night 1 of your rotation and is the standout dining experience on the ship. On 5-night sailings if you dine there a second time the show does not repeat — but the theming and food still hold up.
- Worlds of Marvel — Carried over from the Disney Wish, this immersive Marvel dining experience puts you in the middle of an Avengers mission with Rocket and Groot leading the proceedings. Still one of the better themed dining rooms in the fleet.
- 1923 — A tribute to the early days of Walt Disney Studios. Quieter and more refined than the other two. On the Destiny the 1923 artwork specifically celebrates heroes and villains from Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Big Hero 6, and Wreck-It Ralph.
Specialty Dining
Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement are both on board. Palo fills fast — book it the moment your reservation window opens. Enchanté, the Beauty and the Beast-inspired fine dining experience, is the Destiny's premium tier equivalent to Remy on the Fantasy.
The Grand Hall
The atrium on the Destiny is inspired by Wakanda. The centerpiece statue is King T'Challa as Black Panther. Above it hangs a Vibranium-inspired chandelier, and the pillars throughout the room feature metalwork that mimics Wakandan armor and stacked jewelry from the films. The lighting changes dramatically depending on which character arrives — bright and golden for heroes, eerie and moody when villains like Loki show up to declare themselves king of the ship.

Adult Spaces
This is where the heroes and villains theme really commits:
- De Vil's — The Cruella De Vil piano lounge. Hollywood Regency aesthetic, dalmatian-spotted piano, a glowing fiber-optic Cruella that appears and disappears behind the bar, and live entertainment every evening. Cruella occasionally shows up in person to recruit guests for her "wretched runway" fashion show and "treble-making" musical sessions. The cocktail menu includes the Fashionista (strawberry and banana-infused tequila) and the zero-proof Fearless Sir Galahad. One of the more genuinely fun bar concepts DCL has done.
- The Sanctum — A Doctor Strange-themed lounge with mystical decor, a circular mirror behind the bar evoking the New York Sanctum window, and unique tableside cocktail experiences. Also hosts family activities during the day.
- Cask and Cannon — A pirate-themed pub
- Haunted Mansion Parlor — Carried over from the Treasure, for the Haunted Mansion faithful

Entertainment
The headline Broadway-style show is Disney Hercules — a new stage production created exclusively for the Destiny and premiering with the ship. The heroes and villains theme runs through the ship's character encounters and deck programming throughout every sailing. Two traveling storytellers named Zayah and Gamble roam the Grand Hall with enchanted trunks that react to villain energy — a small touch but one that adds to the atmosphere. Loki makes Grand Hall appearances where the 360-degree lighting transforms the entire space into an eerie Norse realm.
Quick Bites and Cafes
Two new walk-up cafes exclusive to the Destiny sit just off the Grand Hall: Café Megara (Hercules) and Café Merida (Brave). Edna Á La Mode Sweets serves gelato, ice cream, cookies, and specialty treats from what is supposed to be Edna Mode's sewing room repurposed as a dessert lab — a genuinely good concept execution.
Water Attractions
AquaMouse, the same narrative water slide from the Disney Wish, is on board. The Destiny has 10 pools across the ship, plus the standard adults-only pool and kids splash areas.
Staterooms
Room decor features artwork from Hercules, Mulan, Merida, and Sorcerer Mickey — all playing on the heroes theme. The standard Wish-class split-bathroom design is in place. Concierge suites feature Fantasia-inspired artwork.
What Makes the Destiny Different From the Wish and Treasure
All three Wish-class ships share the same hull and a lot of the same infrastructure but each has a distinct personality:
| Disney Wish | Disney Treasure | Disney Destiny | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Theme | Fairy tales and wishes | Adventure and exploration | Heroes and villains |
| Grand Hall | Fairy tale fantasy atrium | Explorer's gilded trophy room | Wakanda / Black Panther |
| Rotational Dining | Frozen, 1923, Worlds of Marvel | Perona Farms, Isla, Skipper Society | Pride Lands, 1923, Worlds of Marvel |
| Signature Show | Disney Seas the Adventure | Disney: The Tale of Moana | Disney Hercules |
| Signature Adult Bar | Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge | Haunted Mansion Parlor | De Vil's piano lounge |
| Premium Dining | Enchante | Encanto at Palo | Enchante |
| Homeport | Port Canaveral | Port Canaveral | Fort Lauderdale |
| Itinerary Length | 3 and 4 nights | 7 nights | 4 and 5 nights |
The Destiny sits between the Wish and Treasure in itinerary length. Short Bahamas trip — the Wish does 3-nights from Canaveral. Full week — the Treasure from Canaveral. The Destiny at 4 and 5 nights from Fort Lauderdale is a solid middle ground, and genuinely more convenient if you are coming from South Florida — Port Everglades is a much easier drive from Miami than Port Canaveral.
