DisneyDisney Adventure Ship Overview
The Disney Adventure started sailing in March 2026 from Singapore and it is unlike anything else in the DCL fleet — a theme park at sea with three actual rides, seven themed zones, and a roller coaster on the top deck.

Summary
The Disney Adventure held its maiden voyage on March 10, 2026, sailing from Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore. At 208,000 gross tons it is the largest ship in DCL history — about 45 percent bigger than the Wish-class ships — and it operates completely differently from every other vessel in the fleet.
It has rides. Three of them. Including a roller coaster — the longest at sea — running across the top deck. No other DCL ship has ever had a ride, let alone three.
It also does not stop at ports. The entire sailing concept is built around the ship as the destination, with seven themed zones laid out like a theme park. Three to four nights at sea, no Castaway Cay, no Nassau. Just the ship.
It is homeported year-round in Singapore, the first DCL ship permanently based outside the United States. Disney acquired the vessel in 2022 when it was roughly 60 to 80 percent complete after the original operator, Genting Hong Kong, collapsed. Meyer Werft completed construction and the ship was delivered to Disney in December 2025. Robert Downey Jr. served as godparent at the christening on March 4, 2026.

The Seven Themed Zones
The Adventure is organized into zones the way a Disney park is organized into lands:
Disney Imagination Garden — The heart of the ship. A three-deck-tall storybook castle — the first physical Disney castle ever built as an art installation on a cruise ship — anchors the open-air space. Garden Stage hosts major live shows throughout the day.
Marvel Landing — Upper deck Marvel zone, home to all three rides plus a Tony Stark-inspired pool deck and the Marvel Style Studio for superhero makeovers.
Toy Story Place — Family pool area with water slides, splash pads, and outdoor movie screenings in the evening.
Wayfinder Bay — Open-air amphitheater area inspired by Moana. Good for outdoor performances and daytime relaxation.
San Fransokyo Street — Big Hero 6-inspired zone with casual eateries, neon, and interactive entertainment. Tailored to multigenerational Asian families familiar with the film.
Town Square — Princess-themed zone with shops, character meet and greets, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea.
Disney Discovery Reef — An interior area featuring windows that overlook a reef-themed space. Some interior staterooms face into the Discovery Reef rather than the exterior ocean.

The Rides
Ironcycle Test Run — Disney Cruise Line's first ever roller coaster. An 820-foot (250-meter) track running across the top deck, 30 feet above the upper deck with open sky and ocean views. Riders test-drive Tony Stark's Ironcycle prototype with F.R.I.D.A.Y. as their guide. The longest roller coaster at sea as of launch.
Pym Quantum Racers — An Ant-Man themed mini-car ride. Lower height requirement than the coaster, good for younger families.
Groot Galaxy Spin — A spinning ride through space with Guardians of the Galaxy music. Lighthearted and all-ages.
Dining
Six rotational dining restaurants — the most in the fleet. Because sailings are only three to four nights you will not reach all six in one trip. Options include the Navigator's Club (nautical-inspired with Mickey and friends), 1923, and four others drawing on Asian-influenced flavors and Disney stories including Stitch's Ohana Grill, Mowgli's Eatery for Indian cuisine, Gramma Tala's Kitchen for Polynesian food, and Bewitching Boba and Brews for bubble tea.
Entertainment
Five original stage productions created exclusively for the Adventure. The headliner is Remember, a Broadway-style musical inspired by WALL-E. Other shows include Avengers Assemble, Disney Seas the Adventure, Moana: Call of the Sea at Wayfinder Bay, and Captain Jack Sparrow and The Siren Queen. The ship is also the only cruise ship in the world to offer fireworks at sea — the Lion King: Celebration in the Sky show narrated by Shah Rukh Khan. Private karaoke rooms are available throughout the ship.
Who It Is For
The Adventure is built for families in Asia and for Disney fans who want the full theme park treatment at sea. It is not a traditional Disney cruise — no port days, no Castaway Cay, the ship is the entire experience. If you are a Florida-based DCL regular expecting the standard format, this is a fundamentally different product. But for guests based in Singapore or Southeast Asia, or anyone planning a trip to the region, it is a legitimately impressive ship doing things no other vessel in the fleet can do.
